We'd like to thank everyone for joining us to watch the The Lion King with us this year! Hope you all enjoyed witnessing familiar childhood memories come to life as much as we did. See you at our next event!

Our very first London-based event featured home-cooked food, lots of hearty chatter, and AMAZING dancing - what more do we need for an enjoyable night? We hope everyone had a good time at this meet-and-greet! It was really awesome seeing both new and familiar faces, and we hope to see everyone again at our future events.
It was a fun day out in the sun with all our freshers at Siloso beach, in collaboration with City, University of London and Goldsmiths University. We played a ton of games and really got to know our freshers in the process! The day had begun with some ice breakers and then we proceeded to an exciting race across the beach whilst carrying cups of water in between our legs (harder than it sounds) before we finally headed off to a rooftop terrace to chill and savour the final taste of local foods. It was a wonderful day out and we hoped you had as much fun as we had planning and preparing for the day! And to our freshers once again, welcome to QM!! Queen Mary Singapore Society Exco 2017/18 Hey everybody, the new academic year is just about to start and are you guys ready for school?
Before we jump into that, here are some updates as to what we have organised so far. Firstly, Orientation 2016 was a success, albeit a small group, it was bustling with energy (well sort of). Secondly, we have clinched 4th place for Captain's Ball in Warwick Summer Games, despite some of the toughest competition and being one of the smallest groups. Lastly, it was great to see the juniors getting along well with one another during the latest gathering over dinner and drinks. Some advice before flying off, remember to check the freshers tab for the pre-departure booklets and guides. There will be lots of other events coming up in London. The meet-and-greet potluck session at Draper's Bar and Grill will be coming up next, sometime in October, so stay tuned for more details. We hope everyone, be it as a fresher or returning student, will have a great academic year ahead in 2016/17. See you guys in London! Yours sincerely, Queen Mary Singapore Society 16/17 Hi everyone!
These are the few events that will be happening during the Summer holidays this year. 1. QM Singsoc BBQ on the 16th of August 2. Warwick Summer Games on the 23rd of August from 8am to 5pm Do visit our fb page to indicate your attendance for the BBQ as soon as possible. We are also still looking for participants for the WSG so do join us by indicating in the poll posted on our fb page. More information can also be found there. We have also updated the pre departure guide. We have decided to have on for the Barts students and another for Queen Mary students so that it is better targeted. The guides will be under the Freshers tab. Have a great Summer! Queen Mary Singapore Society 14/15 Hi everyone :)
Welcome to our newly launched website this year. We will be using this website mainly to keep Singaporeans studying in Queen Mary informed of any events and to improve awareness about Queen Mary, University of London among Singaporeans and hopefully attract more students to come join us! For freshers as well as people interested in knowing more, please feel free to check out our freshly minted Pre-Departure Guide under the Freshers tab. Our first event this year will be the British Council Pre-Departure Talk at Singapore Polytechnic from 2.00pm to 6.15pm tomorrow, 21st July 2013. We'll be having a booth there so we look forward to seeing you there! :) Yours, Queen Mary Singapore Society 13/14 |
